Beautiful FlatIron Mandolin 1984 1SH, Pre-Gibson. This very nice Flatiron mandolin from the FlatIron Co. of Bozeman, Mt. has a serial # of 84012559. This is pre-Gibson which basicaly means it was before Gibson 1987 bought out the company and eventually moved it to Nashville, Tn. The mandolin has a new spruce top, replaced in the last year or so. The original was all cracked up and had a big section missing as someone tried to put a pickup in it. This thing is loud and articulate! Add this one to your collection of FlatIron’s.
